Good school day

Today Fionn got his first sticker for being well behaved and helping clean up at school. He was very proud of his smiley face sticker and mum and dad are proud of him too. Good job Fionn, keep up the good work.

Fionn's first day at school 9/13/11

Fionn starts preschool. He is going to Tioronda kids school 3 days a week for the morning session.

It is so nice that he will be going to school with his best friend Oli and they were so happy they ran in and jumped on the horses.

.I was a little weepy leaving him but Fionn was really excited and happily gave myself and Saoirse a kiss goodbye. The teacher said he was a little upset towards the end but that he did ok.

Dutch wonderland Aug 2011

We had our first family weekend getaway in pennsylvania  We really enjoyed Dutch wonderland and Fionn had such a good time on the rides. There were no lines so he could go on them as often as he wanted so it was a really stress free day.                                                                                                                      

Saoirse's 1st birthday. July 30th,2011.

Today my baby girl turns 1 year old. I cannot believe how quickly time is going by.

Saoirse's 1st steps.

Congratulations to my little walker. So a week before her birthday and Saoirse decides it his time for her to walk. She has shown absolutely no interest in walking so it took me by complete surprise when she took her first steps. I am excited for her as she gets to explore more(and happy for my back as bending down all the time hurts) ,but now I know I will be running around with her getting up to mischief.

Splashdown July 2011

This summer we joined splashdown beach which has a new bob the builder splash zone. We all really enjoyed having a place to go in the hot weather and the kids had so much fun.

June 2011 playdates

We went strawberry picking at Lawrence orchard farm and played in the childrens village with the moms group.

We had a very nice mothers day at home enjoying the beautiful weather in our back yard.

We were very excited to have my brother visiting us . It was his first time coming to our home and meeting Saoirse. We had a wonderful time and were busy with lots of day trips.We went to the park , bear mountain, the bronx zoo and natural history museum.

It is amazing how you can take a picture one day and the kids look so different.I cant believe how quickly Fionn & Saoirse are growing up. 

Easter

It was a very cold day for the easter egg hunt but that didnt stop Fionn from having fun picking up all the chocolate eggs.                                                                                                                                   

They also had an easter egg hunt at the Fishkill rec center where we also go to play.

During the winter months we have come and play at the library, This picture was taken on the last day. His friends managed to sit for a few minutes Oli, Maddy,Sarah and Evi.                                                            

Kids workshop April 2011

Our local home depot does a kids workshop once a month where they have a project for the kids to build. This was Fionns first one and he built a planter. He had so much fun that he wanted to hammer everything at home aswell.
